// 01. ORIGINS

Building with
purpose & intent.

My route into innovation didn't start in a lab. It started with a skateboard, a group of creative friends, and wanting to build something from nothing. Roots stretching from India to Oklahoma to Northeast Tennessee to Atlanta taught me early that real creativity needs technical rigor and honest expression in the same room.

I studied Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech, spending my last eighteen months as a research assistant in Ajit Yoganathan's Cardiovascular Fluid Mechanics Lab. Months after graduating in December 2013, at 22, I co-founded Flow MedTech — polymer heart implants built to eliminate stroke risk in AFib patients. Eight years, four granted patents and a $30M+ valuation later, we exited.

Today I lead healthcare product at River Health, design architectural apparel with Awoken Matter under design house Atehliye, and keep building venture infrastructure through FoundersForge. Different materials, same discipline.

The part I'm proudest of isn't a patent. Through Flow MedTech's social responsibility program, we worked with Remote Area Medical and Global Service Projects to stand up a free clinic outside Pune, India that served close to 1,000 patients.

Co-founded at 22, months out of undergrad. Polymer left atrial appendage implants built to remove stroke risk in AFib patients without lifelong blood thinners — a device engineered to sit permanently inside the human heart. Co-inventor on all company IP, which took valuation up 10x across three financing rounds, and assembled an advisory board carrying 150+ years of combined device experience.
