ARNAB CHAKRABORTY ↗
FOUNDER & BIOMEDICAL ENGINEER
My journey into innovation wasn't sparked solely in a conventional lab—it began with a skateboard, a group of creative friends, and a drive to build something meaningful from scratch. With roots stretching from India to Oklahoma, Northeast Tennessee, and Atlanta, Georgia, I learned early on that true creativity merges technical rigor with authentic expression.
Encouraged by my family to dream with purpose and leave the world better than I found it, I pursued Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech (Class of 2013). That path led to co-founding Flow MedTech, where we engineered polymer heart implants to eliminate stroke risk in AFib patients—earning multiple patents and recognition as a Top 40 global LAA inventor.
Today, I apply that same engineering discipline to luxury physical apparel with Awoken Matter under design house Atehliye, while leading healthcare product strategy at River Health, building venture ecosystems at Founders Forge, and advising emerging startups.
